About Us
The Crane Owners Association (COA) was established in 1973. The COA represents Northern California union crane rental contractors in collective bargaining and administration of the Master Agreement for Equipment Rental negotiated with Operating Engineers Local #3. Together with the Union, the COA assists in developing and promoting training programs, certification compliance, market recovery activities and other labor-management initiatives. In addition, the COA also monitors state and federal regulations that may impact the crane rental industry.
